Janki Devi Educational Welfare Society (JDEWS), is a Non-Government Organization named after Smt. Janki Devi, who was a teacher by profession. To commemorate her passion and zeal towards teaching, her son Mr. Sanjay Joshi, founded the society in 2003. Initially started with just a handful of members JDEWS has grown by leaps and bounds and today hundreds of people can relate themselves with JDEWS. Pelag Foundation was founded on 05-01-2023 by two energetic youth activist girls who came together with the objective of improving & upgrading communities in the Uttarakhand region and other region of India. Bareilly Diocesan Social Service Centre (SUCHETNA) coordinates the work in 3 districts of the state of Uttar Pradesh and 6 districts of the state of Uttarakhand covering a total area of 32,860 sq.kms. The total population of this area is around 10 million people. Bishop Ignatius D� Souza, the President of the society, is a source of inspiration for the entire staff of Suchetna to carry out the developmental work. Fr. Derric Pinto, gives timely guidance to all the staff to continue the mission entrusted. The diocesan Social Service Centre covers 720 villages, in all the nine districts with 39 field centres under 383 Blocks, 06 Nagar Palikas and 288 village panchayats.
