Prayas Juvenile Aid Centre Society is a national level, child, youth and women centric community-based non-profit service delivery organization, directly accessing marginalized, vulnerable, destitute, deprived, trafficked, run-away and missing children besides the marginalized women, youth and homeless people. Presently, run by 761 professionals, through 315 Centres & Units, it directly serves day-to-day nearly 50,000 beneficiaries running intensive outreach programs in 12 States/Union Territories, namely, Delhi, Bihar, Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Haryana, Jharkhand, and Jammu and Kashmir, Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu. Mostly carrying out direct interventions for the children, youth, women, homeless and others in need of care and protection through it�s Homes/Shelters, Crisis Intervention Centre and having run helplines for children and women for several years, Prayas besides these, works on different thematic areas concerning disaster and issues related to education, nutrition, health services, vocational training and life-skill in different parts of the country.
